We are the family Nyberg, that consists of me, Lena, Janne and our children Johanna, Jessica, Nisse and eight dogs. Both me and Janne has growth up with dogs, likewise our children.
1976 was the first time I met the race pugs under a visit at Fågelängens Kennel, I was completely sold at that uggly-beautiful funny thing, and did immediate decide; I got to have one of this some day.
Many years did pass, whit Labrador, Leonberger, Rottweiler och Bordercollie, but 1995 was the time that Siivas Kennel, Yvonne Östling, hade a puppy litter after Fågelängens Miss Caroline Cotton.
There was two bitches in the litter, and at that time didn't we have any interest in dogshows so we took what was lefter over, and that was Doris as we call here, or nowadays SUCh SV-97, 98, 00 Siivas Eureka. As you can see she did not only become a petdog that she was ment to be at the first time...
Our breeding goal is actually very simple; we are breeding first of all puppies at famelybasis when we want to expand our own dogpakt. We want the dogs that comes from us to be so healthy that they can manish a daily long forestwalk just like the other workingdogs here at home. That the pug is a pleasant funny friend is a matter of course, and if it becomes good looking it´s just a plus.
